I started teaching in Malvern during the year 2013-2014 as a 3rd grade teacher. I taught four years in 3rd grade. I then had an opportunity to teach 5th grade ELA. I spent two years teaching in 5th grade. I transfered to 6th grade this year,  where I teach ELA. This is my seventh year teaching at Malvern School District.

I interned at Magnet Cove Elementary in Kindergarten and 3rd grade. I then took a long term substitute job for a 1^st grade classroom, once I completed that I took another long term substitute position for 2^nd grade. Both long term sub positions were in Magnet Cove. In the school year of 2007-2008, I received a teaching position in 3rd grade at Lakeside School District in the Intermediate building. I taught there for six years. We moved to Malvern for my husband’s job, and that’s when I transfered to Malvern in the 2013 school year.

• My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 15 years.
• We have two kids: Madysn is 13 and Lane is 10.
• We have two dogs: Daisy, our Beagle, and Milo, mini. Schnauzer
